2007
CAMOsport® LLC was founded in 2007 in Atlanta, Georgia. As avid sports fans, we wanted a different way for fans to be able to show team support. What better way than to be able to mix and match team apparel with CAMO products in the same team colors! When we shared the idea for CAMOsport® with family members and close friends, the responses were extremely positive. People consistently said they would buy it, and they knew others who would buy it, too. CAMOsport® LLC was formed and began learning and working at night and on weekends to develop a quality-comfortable-fun product line that different age groups could wear. Being a big college sports fan and with prior business experience in the collegiate market it made sense to start there.
2008
Found and established viable business relationships with experienced manufacturing resources. Completed product sampling and began seeking collegiate licensing while identifying go-to market strategies.
As product design, development and sampling continued, we also identified opportunity for our products in additional markets from matching corporate colors, fundraising opportunities, racing events, give a-ways and more.
2009
Received collegiate licensing approvals from The Ohio State University, Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC) & Licensing Resource Group (LRG).
Product test marketing and initial production completed. Very successful "blitz day" and began wholesaler relationship.
2010
Exhibited at CAMEX in Orlando, FL and we continue to expand our wholesaler network throughout the country! With request from many we launched our ecommerce via www.camosport.com Continue to expand our footprint, distribution partners and channels. Visit us often as more products and colors will continue to be added.
